Creating a safe space for all

requires skill

and ongoing practice.

Over the past several years, we’ve seen leaders of transformative spaces (like you) work diligently to address inequities present in our communities.

It’s time for a check-in.

What’s the impact?

How to Create a Culturally Safe Space

Through this workshop you will be able to:

  • that you are creating safe-enough and risk-worthy spaces to do deep, vulnerable work together

  • your community to understand what a culturally safe space is and what it takes to co-create it

  • the members of your community who hold systemically marginalized identities (BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, etc)

Hi! It’s great to meet you!

We’re Deb and Andréa. We met several years ago (in France!) and have been partnering for the past couple of years to help visionary leaders ensure that the communities they create function in ways that align with the kind of world they believe in.

A world in which everyone is flourishing.

  • Co-creator. Workshop Leader.

Deb, like many white folks, started out pretty unaware of how racism and racial harm are perpetuated. She went through “white savior” phase and years of being frozen in shame. Because of Andréa and some other amazing teacher/leaders including Aminata Sol Plantwalker Firewoman and Ijumaa Jordan, she found her way to compassionate and courageous capacity building in service of a more just, loving, and equitable world.

She’s a Racial Justice From the Heart Facilitator, former professor, and multi-certified coach.

We don’t believe in cancel culture.

We do believe in you.

After the workshop. . .

Growing the capacity to create culturally safe spaces is life long work and most of our organizational clients work with us for 6 months or more, making use of some or all of the following services in a customized package.
